The Ultimate EAGLES Experience
The '7 Bridges' Road

Summer In The City...

Hello from the road!

It's only July and it's already been a LONG, HOT, CRAZY summer for 7 Bridges!  Long drives, grounded planes, lost luggage and GREAT, GREAT fans are just a few of the things we've experienced so far!!

June 27 saw 7 Bridges paddle on into the 2009 CanoeFest in Brookville, Indiana.  The sweltering heat didn't seem to dampen the crowd's enthusiasm for the band or for the INCREDIBLE fried chicken being cooked up for the Fried Chicken Cook-off.  Special thanks to Bryan Wolski, Elio Giordano, and Ernie Kassoff for helping us make this show an amazing one.  EXTRA special thanks to Bayard Pelsor and all of the staff for bringing us to CanoeFest, for treating us like absolute royalty, and for feeding us some AMAZING chicken!  You guys ROCK and we can't wait to get back to Brookville!!

7 Bridges celebrated Independence Day in Hobbs, New Mexico at the Zia Park Raceway/Black Gold Casino.  Despite the ever present rain clouds, the show went on as scheduled.  Unfortunately the show had to be stopped midway through on account of rain.  The crowd was reminiscent of a Major League Baseball crowd waiting out a rain delay as they stayed and stayed and stayed, waiting for the rain to finally give up and go away.  Prayers were answered, the band cranked back up and the crowd was right there with us until the very last note!!  Thanks to all of you for making us feel very at home in Hobbs.  We definitely could not have done this gig without talented people like Rick Baugh with Zia Park/Black Gold casino, Mickey and John at Quickbeam and Tom Fhon with Northwest Events and Marketing. Thanks to you all and we hope to see Hobbs again VERY soon!!

On July 8th, 7B headed north to Steeler Country, as we were set to ROCK the Summer Concert Series in Peters Township, Pennsylvania.  Once again the rain threatened, but we were blessed this day as the clouds disappeared and the sun broke through to light our stage for the early evening performance.  This was one of the band's FAVORITE types of shows.  We love playing in natural amphitheaters, and this one was unreal.  The large, grassy hill was filled to capacity with people of all ages.  The band was even treated to a gymnastics exhibition by several energetic youngsters who seemed to think that Eagles music is the PERFECT accompaniment to cartwheeling!!  Thanks for keeping us entertained while we kept you entertained!  Thanks also to Dante Maruca and his talented staff for making us sound AMAZING and to Sheila Coquet and all at Peters Township for inviting us to your incredible venue.

July 9th saw the band invade the Big Apple for some much deserved rest and relaxation.  Some of the band opted to take in a NY Mets game, while others ventured into Little Italy to nosh at Lombardi's, one of the most famous pizza joints in all of NYC.  A walk around Times Square with a few bar stops along the way and it was bed time.

The next day, July 10th, the band headed up to Mount Vernon, NY to perform at the Bayou.  Our Don Felder, Douglas Gery, had been raving about the food at the Bayou for WEEKS before the gig, so we were all keen to sample the cajun goodness that the lovely Belle was dishing out!  We were not disappointed, as she treated us to the BEST cajun food east of the Hudson River!  Thanks so much to Pete and Belle for showing us a wonderful time!!

This leg of the summer tour concluded in Harwinton, Connecticut at the 5th Annual Concert For Sight.  We were joined on this date by Tom Sadge.  Tom, along with his ultra-talented band,  gave the crowd the Ultimate Neil Diamond Experience and was a VERY hard act to follow!  Check Tom out HERE.

It seems that 7B has angered the rain gods in some way, as we were again plagued with the threat of rain.  Taking the stage after Tom, we blazed through a blistering 1 hour set before we were forced to stop the show as dangerous lightning had entered the area, and a big thunderstorm was sure to follow.  The crowd was on their feet the entire show and was just as disappointed as the band was when we had to stop.  We all were having a BLAST!!!  We are SO thankful to have such wonderful fans that will stick it out through the wind, rain and chilly temperatures to show their love for Eagles music.  In addition to Tom and his band, 7 Bridges would like to thank "Merch Guru" Keri Gero for all of her help on this run, everyone at HBgroup for the fantastic production, and most of all we would like to thank Bob Wesneski and everyone associated with the Harwinton Lions Club and the Concert for Sight for putting on such an incredible event. Bob and his crew treated the band better than we could have ever asked for (MANY thanks for the HUGE fruit arrangement and all the other good eats in the green room!), and we can't wait to come back and do some more work for such a great cause.  Support your local Lions club and make a donation today!

That's all the news that's fit to print as of this moment.  A note to all you Buckeyes... be on the lookout for 7 Bridges this week as we'll be rolling into Wadsworth, Cuyahoga Falls, Warren and Pickerington!  Please check out the UPCOMING DATES section on our home page for up-to-the-minute details on all of these shows.  Be there or be square!!

Take it easy and try to keep cool... it's gonna be a LONG, HOT SUMMER with 7 Bridges : The Ultimate EAGLES Experience!!!

Crazy, crazy times...

 Greetings from Nashville...

As I write this, I am still reeling from the news that the "King of Pop", Michael Jackson, has passed away at the age of 50. Although MJ's music probably wasn't influenced by The Eagles, or vice versa, his music had an immense impact on all of us in 7 Bridges.  From the harmonies of the early Jackson 5 recordings, to the earth-shaking grooves of his later solo material, Mr. Jackson was a true innovator and created some of the most recognizable hooks in music history.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of MJ's fans and friends, and of course the Jackson family.

In 7 Bridges news...

We are pleased to welcome Walt English of Summit Entertainment (www.thesummitentertainment.com), Frank Kielb (therockbands.com) and Norman Land (www.kingsland.net) to the 7 Bridges family.  Walt, Frank and Norman have been instrumental in helping 7B book an incredible summer schedule and will continue to be an integral part of how the 7 Bridges show is brought to you, the fans.

Tomorrow, 7 Bridges will headline the Canoe Fest in Brookville, Indiana, and will be visiting New Mexico, Connecticut, New York and Ohio before the end of July.  Please check out our Tour Dates page for more dates!

The summer of 2009 is going to be busy, busy, busy for us and we hope to see you all at every tour stop.  We will attempt to update you frequently with show details, photos and general craziness related to all that is the Ultimate EAGLES Experience!

Long overdue update!!!

Greetings and salutations friends and fans!

It's been quite awhile since our last blog post, so allow us to fill you in on what's been happening in the 7 Bridges world!

So far, 2009 is shaping up to be a banner year!  Thanks in no small part to Frank Kielb, Walt English and several other booking agents that have taken 7 Bridges under their wings.  They are doing their part to make sure the world knows all about 7 Bridges : The Ultimate EAGLES Experience!  Thanks SO much guys!  We couldn't do this without you!

Gigs are rolling in daily and this summer looks GREAT!  7B will be returning to several states that we haven't been back to for a long, long time (Here we come Ohio!!), and also performing in places that we've NEVER been before!  We've booked some very cool fairs and festivals along with some pretty sweet club dates.  The Natchitoches Jazz Festival (April 4), Rockin' On The River (July 17), The Summit Rock Showcase (July 18) and the National Blueberry Festival (August 7) are just a few that we're really looking forward to playing!

We had 2 fantastic shows recently.  On February 13th, we performed at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe, PA.  This was the first time that we performed there as 7 Bridges.  Keith, Vern, Jason and Doug had previously performed there with Tequila Sunrise.  The response was overwhelmingly positive and we can't wait to return!  Thanks so much to Craig and all the rest for a fabulous experience!!

On March 14th, we performed at the Liberty Theater in Ft. Scott, KS.  This was another venue that 7 Bridges was coming into for the first time, but that Keith, Vern and Doug had played previously with Tequila Sunrise.  Once again the response was UNBELIEVABLE!  The staff was absolutely amazing and made our job so easy.  The sound and light crew were phenominal, as was the after-party at the Holmtown Bar!  Kudos also go to the staff of the Courtland Hotel and Day Spa.  Tequila Sunrise had stayed there previously, so we were really stoked that we were able to return.  The food was amazing, and the rooms were very cozy.  Vern even got a nice haircut!  Thanks to all at the Courtland for a wonderful stay!

That's about it for now.  Keep your eyes on the Tour Dates page, as new dates are being added all the time.  We've also posted pics from our near sellout show at Penn's Peak.  Thanks to John Stoj for the awesome photos!

Also check out www.manningdickson.com for a sampling of the original material that we are working on.  See you on the road!

Welcome to our Blog!

Greetings 7 Bridges fans!

We hope you've been enjoying our new website.  It's been a long time coming, and there will be more great things to be added in the near future.

The band decided to jump on the blogging bandwagon in order to keep our fans informed of new developments and also to be able to give back to the fans and let them know just how much we appreciate the time and money (and gas!) they spend just to listen to us perform.

The preceeding posts are from the previous month's shows.  We hope you enjoy reading about them, and feel free to leave comments for the band.

Without further ado, lets begin our journey "Down the '7 Bridges' Road"!

Fabulous Franklin, TN

6.30.08

Last night we had the pleasure of performing at the Historic Carnton Plantation in beautiful Franklin, TN.

This was the inagural concert in the Summer Concert Series, and we feel very honored that we got to usher in the series.

The sun shone brightly as we worked through our soundcheck around 4pm.  Most of the crowd got a free preview, it seemed, as most showed up early.  Our show started at 6pm, and everyone was into it from the very first note.

It was a unique experience to perform in such an open, yet strangely intimate, setting.  The stage was set up on some beautiful acreage right in front of a line of timber.  The crowd seemed to be all around us, with kids running, jumping, playing tag, spinning cartwheels and just being kids.  The Plantation is a very cool, relaxed environment, and it was a real joy to perform there.

During the intermission, Grand Ole Opry member Steve Wariner took the stage to assist in presenting 2 Franklin soldiers with commemorative quilts, symbolizing their time spent in Iraq.  Jason, Ray and Keith then led the crowd in singing a verse of "America the Beautiful."  It was a very moving, emotional experience.

The show finished in traditional 7B rockin' fashion, but we had to cut it short because the skies finally decided to open up and give us a little bath!!

Thanks to Lauren Newsome and Lee Heulett for manning the merch booth (and sampling the mint juleps!) while we dodged raindrops.  Check out Lauren's photos from Carnton HERE!

To Lisa Patton and all that helped put the show on and who continue to keep Carnton Plantation up and running, 7B says "Thanks a million!"  We had a great time and can't wait to come back again soon!!

Main Street really was a BLAST!

6.29.08

How ya' doin'??

We're doing great!  Spending the weekend in sunny Florida can definitely put you in a fabulous mood, that's for sure!

Saturday night we performed at the Main Street Blast, sponsored by Friendly Kia, in New Port Richey, FL.  The show was phenominal, as was the crowd, even though we were dodging clouds and the threat of some rain.

Looking out from the stage it seemed there were people as far as the eye could see.  A virtual sea of Eagles fanatics!  Fairs and outdoor festivals are fabulous because we get to perform for almost every age group all at the same time.  Dancing, singing along and just plain ROCKIN' OUT to every song... they were awesome!

Thanks also to Judy and all of the production crew that helped put the show on.  Bill Terlop and the rest of 60's Groove get MUCHO thanks for providing several pieces of important gear for us.  We'll return the favor one of these days!  The Quality Inn in NPR kept us comfortable during our stay, and BIG props go to the man simply known as Freddy.  Freddy was our chauffer, roadie, waterboy, merch table wrangler (after 2 hours!! LOL!), and all around GREAT guy!!  Freddy ROCKS!

Many thanks also to Lauren Newsome and Johnny G. for joining us on this trip as
photographers and merch sales gurus.  Check out their pics from the Main Street Blast HERE!

7B LOVES NPR!!!

Albuquerque ROCKS!

6.09.08

Greetings from Music City USA!

Many thanks to all of the great fans that turned out to see us at the El Rey Theater in Albuquerque, NM this past Sunday.

The crowd was little, but loud, and loved every minute of the show. The staff treated us like kings and the sound was top-notch. Aside from a few technical gremlins that seem to plague us everywhere we go (I promise we're not feeding them after midnight...), the show went off without a hitch.

Thanks in no small part to our old friend, Bryan Wolski. Bryan stepped in to play Randy Meisner/Timothy B, Schmit for Jason Dickson, as JD had gotten married the night before and was "honeymooning" with his lovely wife, Lauren. Bryan was a member of Tequila Sunrise with many of us, so it was just like old times having him on stage again. Bryan is on tour with the Daniel Doss Band. and also road manages Michael English from time to time. Thanks a million, Bryan!!
