Jason Dickson portrays Randy Meisner/Timothy B. Schmit in 7 Bridges : The Ultimate EAGLES Experience.
Jason Dickson was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He started playing music at the age of 11, and made the decision to start playing professionally when he began attending Texas A&M in 1992.
While in college, Jason began playing acoustic shows at the local bars in College Station, Texas. Within 8 months, he had formed Headwest and began to write and perform original music with the group. Headwest played the “Texas music” circuit for many years and experienced substantial regional success. The band was considered “heavy pop”, which was unique because the music industry was being dominated by “grunge” bands at that time.
In 1996, Jason left Headwest. Feeling the need for inspiration, he traveled to various parts of the US, working various jobs and writing music. Returning to Dallas in 2000, he resumed playing with Headwest. The group’s sound and attitude had changed since their college days, however, and they decided to go in a new direction, complete with a new name, MUR. MUR was definitely rock music, but with a slower pace and more mature sound and structure. MUR quickly became one of the most respected original bands in the Dallas music scene, developing a loyal following that spanned many age groups.
Jason left MUR in 2004 and formed Anytown. Anytown was an acoustic, harmony driven project focused on creating and performing original material inspired by the Eagles, the Bellamy Brothers, Blackhawk, Alabama and others.
Anytown released a self-titled CD in 2004. Anytown played the “Texas music” circuit for two years and experienced great success, having the opportunity to share the stage with Loretta Lynn, the Bellamy Brothers, Johnny Bush, Pat Green, and Hank Thompson, just to name a few.
Jason teamed up with Jason Manning in 2007, and the pair began to write and record original music using the Eagles as their template. Strong vocal harmonies, unique chord structures and poignant lyrics are the main focus in this new venture. An album featuring several members of 7 Bridges is currently in the works.
Joining 7 Bridges: The Ultimate EAGLES Experience in 2008, Jason assumed the role of Randy Meisner/Timothy B. Schmit, performing on bass guitar and vocals. This group affords Jason the opportunity to perform tremendous songs to large crowds throughout the country, while further developing as a singer/songwriter.
When not performing with 7 Bridges, Jason owns and operates his own lending company, Approved Lending. Jason resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Lauren.
